The 40 Most Popular No-Code Tools

There’s no doubt that no-code software is revolutionizing how we work. By adopting no-code tools, you can enable anyone from your HR department to the finance team to build the workflows they need—without needing support from IT. In our 2021 No-Code Economy Survey, we asked respondents what no-code tools they used to power their business. Today, we’re sharing a list of the most widely used tools from our survey, as well as some up and comers you may not have heard about yet. 



There are so many ways to streamline how you work each day. Check out this list to see if your team could benefit from any of these tools. 

1. Formstack 

Of course, we had to call ourselves out first. We’re passionate about easy-to-use, no-code solutions because we are one!

46% of survey respondents are WordPress users.

WordPress is used by more than 40.5% of the top 10 million websites as of March 2021

3. Shopify 

34% of survey respondents are Shopify users.

Shopify is a subscription-based software that allows anyone to set up an online store and sell their products. Shopify store owners can also sell in physical locations using Shopify POS, a point-of-sale app and accompanying hardware. If you’re a Shopify merchant with both an online and physical presence, your inventory and stock get synced so you can manage your store(s) from one account, on any device.

4. Canva 

29% of survey respondents are Canva users.

Canva is a graphic design platform used to create social media graphics, presentations, posters, documents, and other visual content. The platform is free to use and offers paid subscriptions like Canva Pro and Canva for Enterprise for additional functionality.

5. Wix 

29% of survey respondents are Wix users.

Wix.com is a leading cloud-based development platform with millions of users worldwide. The Wix solution makes it easy for anyone to create a beautiful, professional web presence. Promote your business, showcase your art, set up an online shop, or just test out new ideas. 6. Bubble 

26% of survey respondents are Bubble users.

7. Squarespace 

16% of survey respondents are Squarespace users.

8. Zapier 

12% of survey respondents are Zapier users.

Zapier is an online automation tool that connects your favorite apps, such as Gmail, Slack, Mailchimp, and more. You can connect two or more apps to automate repetitive tasks without coding or relying on developers to build the integration.

9. Airtable 

12% of survey respondents are Airtable users.

Airtable is a low-code platform for building collaborative apps. Airtable allows users to customize workflows, collaborate, and achieve ambitious outcomes. This spreadsheet-database hybrid, has the features of a database applied to a spreadsheet.


10. Adalo 

10% of survey respondents are Adalo users.

Adalo is a no-code platform for building powerful web and mobile apps that can include payments, notifications, and more. Adalo makes creating apps as easy as putting together a slide deck. 11. Webflow 

10% of survey respondents are Webflow users.

Thunkable also allows users to build web apps, which are apps you don't need to download and can be directly accessed online.
